Big Data in Psycholinguistics
(organized by Jan Chromý, James Brand, and Filip Smolík)
This workshop focuses on the growing role of big data in psycholinguistic research, emphasizing the value of large-scale open datasets, such as lexical norms, behavioral corpora, and advanced computational tools. We invite abstracts showcasing how such resources can address key questions about language processing, acquisition, and use. We are particularly interested in work exploring cross-linguistic collaboration and comparative studies that have developed or utilised big data resources for psycholinguistic research. The workshop aims to provide a platform for sharing insights and best practices, fostering collaboration, and advancing data-driven approaches.

Multilingual Experience: From Individuals to Society
(organized by Kateřina Chládková)
This workshop explores the multifaceted experience of multilingualism, focusing on how individuals become and navigate being multilingual and the broader societal implications of linguistic diversity. Through three keynote talks, we will examine the cognitive and social processes of early multilingual acquisition in children, the challenges and opportunities of learning new languages as adults, and how multilingualism can foster societal resilience and inclusivity.
The program will also include a poster session showcasing research on multilingual identity, language learning across the lifespan, and the role of linguistic diversity in education and policy. The workshop aims to inspire discussions on how multilingualism shapes individuals and strengthens communities in an interconnected world.
